Once you have done this, it will appear on your credit report, which is a good because if debt is accumulated in your name, you can prove that you had been the victim of credit card fraud.

Many South Africans have found themselves extremely indebted due to credit card fraud. In some instances, victims of credit card fraud may not even realise what is happening until it is too late. This is usually due to Card Not Present transactions, where the cardholder and the card are not present during the time of the fraudulent transaction.
